PARIS: Cliffs of Dover, tiny hostel room, the Sacre Coer at night all lite up, the man selling beers on the street, peering into the gallery where there was a man painting and drinking wine, the African man sitting with us and almost getting into a fight with a couple over spilled milk, climbing the Sacre Coer and spending hours exploring it, fresh fruit frappe, buskers with hilarious accents and ridiculous songs on the metro, walking from the Notre dame to the Louvre to the Arc De Triumph then to the Eiffel Tower, extremely sore feet, stalls along the river, locks on the bridge, gorgeous gardens around the Louvre, climbing the Eiffel Tower and messaging people I loved at the top, speaking to my Mum as we watched the sunset from the top, Disneyland teacups, space mountain, caramel popcorn, Tinkerbell lollipops, thumb wars on the train, long chat with a talkative and inquisitive youngster.

HOSSEGOR: festival in Bayonne, red neck ties and white clothing, long journey to Hossegor, many wrong directions to our hotel which ended up being right on the beach, lovely room, sunburn and ice-cream on the beach, delicious breakfast, fairy-floss in the park, carousel, old men playing botchie, big bottle of cider and tomato and mozzarella salad, bronzed bodies Pre-Camino excitement, last seats on the last bus, french teenagers loud, drunk and covered in red stains on their not-so-white clothing, understanding why Lyndsay Scott loved Hossegor, Todd raging about sand, kids riding two wheeled skateboards as the sunset, Todd feeding his raw steak to a dog that wouldn't stop barking, girls on bikes guiding us in the right direction, wishing we had longer in Hossegor, deciding to start the Camino a day later than planned, Paulo Coelho look a-like on the train.
